The Millbourne Community Life Centre is a proud depot of the WECAN Food Basket Society. WECAN is a not for profit organization that believes everyone has the right to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables and freshly frozen meat at an affordable price.  To learn more about how to participate in this program please click here.

Money and orders can be dropped off at the Millbourne Community Centre (at the main office or in the mailbox to the left of the front doors) by the first Friday of every month, while food distribution takes place on the the third Thursday afternoon of each month between 3pm-5pm.  Orders must be picked up during this time.

On your order envelope please include your name, address, phone number, email information and the date.  If it is your first order please include a $5 registration fee that will be good for the year. 1 produce order (fruits and vegetables) is $10 and 1 meat order is $15. You may purchase more than one order of each. Just indicate how many orders you want, and the total amount you are paying.  Please pay with cash. When you drop the payment in the mailbox, make sure it goes all the way in!

Payments must be dropped off by 5pm Friday: March 9th, April 6th, May 4th, June 8th, July 6th, August 10th, Sep.7th, Oct.5th, Nov.9th, Dec.7th.

Food pick up dates are Thursdays between 3pm and 5pm: March 22nd, April 19th, May 17th, June 21st, July 19th, August 23rd, Sep.20th, Oct.18th, Nov. 22nd, Dec. 20th.
