As a church, we are called to serve the needs of our surrounding community and have experienced grace and guidance through our many different efforts. We have also seen God’s hand in helping us build partnerships with other organizations that also have a burden for the community of Millwoods. Over the last few years we have seen an increased need for the Church to become engaged in the community – whether through food distribution, counselling, family supports, and health care, just to name a few. It is our hope that the Millbourne Community Life Centre as an extension of South Edmonton Alliance Church, will be yet another way through which Jesus will be tangibly seen in Millwoods. God has placed us in the midst of incredible needs in the City of Edmonton, and we have been empowered to share the Good News—that God’s love calls to us, heals us, redeems us, and transforms us.
